Used camera choices for Infrared

Thinking of getting a camera for infrared. I just don't know which cameras are good for this and which are not. I do know that my D90 won't do it without conversion, and that is not an option.
Considering D50 or D70. Would these need to be converted, or will they do O.K. with just the addition of an I.R. filter?
