Another recommendation for the E620 and dual kit here. The quality of the kit lenses is more than good enough to learn with, they're small, light, perfectly suited to the body and they give enough range to cover most bases, while allowing you to discover everything about your own shooting preferences in order to inform your next lens purchase. That next lens could be the 9-18 if you want wider, the 70-300 if you want longer, the 50/2 if you want more light and some macro, the 35/3.5 if you want very close up macro or tack sharp general shots, or if you find yourself happy with a standard zoom range but really want the maximum quality you can then upping to a 14-54 or 12-60 will suit.

But you can discover all that after shooting with the dual kit.
