S90: Who's getting one?

I really thought Canon had fallen asleep at the wheel, but this cam is one serious statement. And with the s90 front control ring we get some R&D spent on a new feature that serious photographers might actually care about.

They're obviously looking to take back some of the ground they've recently lost to the LX3 - but shrewdly they've ticked off areas that enough people consider downsides on the LX3 - extra zoom and PPP (pants pocket pocketability

I'm actually wondering whether Panasonic will come out with anything in time to tempt buyers away from this camera. Surely Panasonic won't release an LX4 anytime soon - wouldn't that just detract from sales of their upcoming m4/3 release?

So what are poeple hoping for when it comes to s90 image quality?

Given the good - but not great - size of the sensor all I want is cleaner iso400 (than the LX3, for example) - hopefully as clean as my fuji f100fd but with less NR.
