Could you do 'Kodachrome' in Lightroom? What was it anyway?

Now it is no more, we have read many nostalgic posts about Kodachrome. I've got boxes and boxes of Kodachrome slides from the 60s onwards.

What would you say were the characteristics of Kodachrome, and could you simulate them in Lightroom?

I can see that reds and yellows tend to be saturated, and midtone contrast generally is higher than a straight conversion from a raw file in Lightroom. I am not sure what else I can identify as specific to the Kodachrome style.

Were there any other traits you would say made Kodachrome distinctive as compared to Agfa and Fuji (I've got loads of Agfa too), and compared to a straight raw digital file through ACR?
