ZS3 Indoor Pictures
Aug 10, 2009

I waited 2 weeks, finally got my ZS3, and returned it back in a week. Great, handy all in one P&S camera. However, here is why I returned it.

1) While shooting indoors, or low light, I do not get enough light from the camera. No I am not zooming a lot here. In addition, I get 2 flashes, one weak and other strong. I believe the shutter opens at the strong one.

2) Selection dial gets turned to different location every time I pull it out of my pocket. Did they not think people will keep this camera in their jeans pocket?
3) Poor battery. I have used Canon 880is, and ZS3 disappointed me on that.

Thats it. I returned it just for that. The reason I am bringing this up now, is I have second thoughts. Did I act impulsively? Are there ways to get around my problem? Do I need to tweak my settings? Etc. Because, in all honesty, Canon's SX has its issues too, and there is no perfect camera in this category.

Please advise.
