US MiniTT1 + FlexTT5 (334Mhz) in a EU country

Hi,

I have just bough a MiniTT1 + FlexTT5 in the US (334 Mhz version) and I'm planing to move to Germany in a couple of months. I know there is a European version working in a different frequency but I wonder if the US version would work too. I'm not sure if there is another version because of strict EU regulations or just because in those countries the 334 Mhz band is too noisy for proper operation.
