What I don't get with RAW is ...

....how do you get the correct colour home without placing a colour chart in the scene?
I am compelled to use jpeg so that WB can be checked at the scene against a known understanding between what I see on the display in relation to what I'm going to see on the screens at home.
As everyone knows I shoot with my left eye scoping for targeting the long lens. A difference between real view and display colour shows up pretty much instantly, allowing the settings to be adjusted. Once home there's no way I can correct colour without a sample such as an item of clothing.
I suppose I could buy a multi coloured jumper for my wife. That's Christmas sorted anyway.
