Moveable LCDs - Value and Limitations

There's been a lot of buzz about the rumored moveable LCD of the new Samsung. A couple of points to remember coming from my experience.

I use one with the Panasonic G1 and it's great for waist level street shooting...almost no lag time for quick shooting in live view.
I tried out the one on the Nikon D5000.
Too much lag time to use it for THAT purpose.
Still good for other purposes where quick shooting isn't needed.

The Samsung LCD IF moveable (still just a rumor) is likely, at best to function like that of the Nikon.

And BTW I am considering the K7 and it's great little lenses for candid shooting.
