[LX3] my first insect macros
Jun 29, 2009
|
I have a lots of bugs in my home. We don't bother each other much but when they do get in my way I usually just sweep them onto a piece of paper and throw them out. But since I (recently) upgraded my old compact point-&-shoot to a LX3, I thought I might take these opportunities to do some macro exercises.
These are my first foray into macro. All are hand-held, JPEGs and shot on a white paper in the light from my kitchen window. I've done cropping, levels, saturation and sharpening in PS.
No insects were harmed ...erhm. I harmed no insects for these shots.
This last little gal was shot through the cheapest +10 Macro filter ebay could find me.
