Ligthroom 2.4 first try...

Yesterday I purchase lightroom 2 to go with my new processing machine...which now update to version 2.4.
Having growing up with SPP, it is quiet a challenging software for me to use.

I am still stumbling around it try to explore. So I quickly went outside and took a photo of the tiger lily with DP2 and AML-1 manual focus (sorry, weeds are my most readily available subject). This is what I got from my uncalibrated monitor.

It seems that I might not need the photoshop CSx at all for what little that I use for.
Is there something that CSx can do that Ligthroom is not capable of?
