End of Kodak slides

Production of Kodachrome, the slide film synonymous with the 1966s and 1970s photography, would cease later this year, Kodak said.

The film, used by millions of families to relive special moments by placing each cardboard frame into a slide projector, has been overtaken by negative film and digital cameras.

Looks like this really is the end of a era.
