Addicted to the DP1, now need to "step back"

I love my DP1 photos more than anything. I even use it for my casual family snapshots, and have mastered it to the point where it feels natural.

But let's face it; as a "drop in in your pocket and take the kids to the park" camera, it falls a bit short (size mostly).

I just saw a $100 rebate on the Fuji F100fd (dropping the total price to a mere $164) and couldn't pass it up.

I dread giving up the DP1 DR or crisp images, even for my casual shots. I figured Fuji with the extended DR and WA might be a good "first step" back to the P&S. It's actually replacing an old Pentax 5MP, so it's actually a huge step forward. But still....

Any DPx/Fuji owners with tips? I've come to expect the IQ of the DP1. I never had to "step back" before.
