Shadows and surface areas (floors, ceilings, walls) will sometimes
shift color depending upon how the light source strikes them.. that's
what I've been saying in numerous boring posts LOL.

Yes, I've noticed the sensor is so sensitive to color shift and spilling. It should make great color radiosity photographs.

photo for example, I don't see a "problem" I see different light
sources casting different light effects on different surface areas
FWIW. the SDx/DPx cameras are very sensitive to different light
sources IMHO. Other cameras seem to homogenize the light more...

Agreed, it's highly subjective as usual. At the moment, just want to be able to predict and visualize my photographs. We all know sigma cameras have their own character. Once I know what the dp and SPP can do, then I'll be more consistent with my style of photography.

whether one likes the effect or not depends really upon one's
perceptions and expectations, as well as understanding the
illuminant; again just my opinion.
