New models announced this summer?

Anyone know if this is the time of year for Nikon to announce a new version D700?
Announcements are usually made a year after a previous model with release dates following in early December or January. With prices so high at the moment thought it best to wait a couple of months to see how the market levels out and if prices are likely to reduce. Any thoughts? thanks
