EOS 50D Great Blue Heron Pics

Some photos I took this past weekend of a Great Blue Heron at a local park, here in Oregon. This was along a creek (Amazon Creek) at a local park where everyone jogs...down the creek, there's a tree that houses approximately three nests and their all loaded with young-ins all krawking at one another. These guys were a lot easier to get closer to, than the skittish ones I normally encounter out in the middle of nowhere. He just casually strutted down the creek while I was on the other side of the creek following him. Eventually, we ended up at a man made dam.

All shots taken with the EOS 50D and EF-70-300, between 400-500 ISO. I think I may have even used 640 for the shaded pic.
