Survey - Keep picture posts here?

Threads with pictures from our Nikon SLRs are sometimes being moved to the "Challenges and Galleries" or "Samples & Galleries" forums. The rules state:

"My latest picture" / gallery / multiple images - Unless it's discussion of a specific technique or setup please do not post "here's my latest picture / gallery" type posts in the camera specific forums, instead please use the Samples & Galleries forum.

I would love to see this rule changed or deleted. How about you?

Please vote by putting in your subject either:

• "Yes, keep picture posts in this forum"

• "No, move picture posts out if they don't comply with the rules."

I value posting and seeing images taken with our cameras. It lets me see what others with our equipment are getting, and it lets me get feedback from others familiar with our equipment.

I am not interested in seeing pictures taken with point and shoot cameras, as they are often quite mundane. (Of course, great pictures can be taken with them but often are not.) I am also not interested in seeing here pictures taken with other SLRs. When I want to just see fine photography, I look elsewhere than DPReview.
