lens or camera

My d80 has a shining cross of active pixels in every picture I take, it is noticiable if I crop in on the picture. Other then that I have no problen with the camera.
I am trying to not have my camera go up in smoke on me, and was thinking about buying another camera to replace. If I don't money will go toward new lens.
What would you do ? Help me
