The P65+ and the P40+ are virtually noiseless at ISO 3200. Granted you only get 1/4 of the pixels, but the files are 16-bit from the sensor (281 trillion colors). One of the main benefits is that MFD shooters no longer would need a separate DSLR for the jobs they do in-between the ones that require 40-60 Mpx images. I cannot see anyone using a Phase One system for senior portraits or Facebook profile images.

Granted, these are not sports cameras by any stretch of the imagination. But you can see where this is going.

Plus, if Phase One (the patent-holder) licenses this tech to Canikon, imagine what they could pull off with their sensors!
Don't anthropomorphize digital cameras. They don't like it.
