Upgrading to from Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 to Canon 70-200 f/2.8L

I switched from Sigma 70-200 2.8 to Canon as well. IQ difference is very minor, af difference in good light was not noticable but AF on canon is slightly better in low light.

But I also agree - 70-200 is short for outdoor work. In your shoes I think you'll get a much bigger impact by buying a longer lens for outdoor work and keeping the sigma for indoor work.

I also have the sigma 120-300 2.8. I cannot comment on lens service from either manufacturer though - I have never had to have any lenses serviced.
