70-200/4 L IS Indoors

I've been asked to take photos of our churches first communion ceremony. The only longer lens I have is the 70-200/4L IS. There is no flash allowed and I'm wondering if I will be able to get the shots with this lens? I will be using it on the 1DMKII. Thanks for any information.
