There is another thread where the poster got an error. I went to the link, and it says this:

"DNG is supported by Adobe® Photoshop® CS4, Photoshop CS3, Photoshop CS2, Photoshop CS, Photoshop Elements 7.0, Photoshop Elements 6.0, Photoshop Elements 4.0, and Photoshop Elements 3.0 software."

So it should work with CS2. My granddaughter had the same problem, and I don't know how she ended up getting around it. She had downloaded a trial of Lightroom, and it looked really neat, but that is expensive especially if you decide to have that and upgrade from CS2.
