Frustrated with Smugmug lately

Maybe it's me, but it seems like Smugmug has been having more and more technical difficulties lately. When I need to access my site to upload pics from a recent race, their system crashes system wide and is down for more than several hours at a time. They are down right now for system upgrade or maintenance and can't access my site. IMHO, I like smugmug, but there seems to be more and more instances of system wide crashes, preventing my customers from viewing and making purchases. Has anyone had the same or similar experiences with Smugmug or any other photo hosting website? Thanks.
