Nikon 35mm AF-S DX NIKKOR f/ 1.8 for outdoor low light shot...

Hi everyone,
I was seriously thinking to buy this lens (Nikon 35mm AF-S DX NIKKOR f/ 1.8) to upgrade my "base kit" of my D60.
Actually I have the 18-55+55-200 (both VR) and I'm really happy with it.
But I was thinking to get this prime lens not just to take the advantage to get good indoor pitcure in really low light situation (without boosting the ISO too much) but even and especially to use in outdoor shot in low light situation (like evening nature landscape, city light in the night,etc...)
Is it a good idea or its a waste of money?
Thanks
Alex
