The reason the ZS3 is not a good indoor camera!

According to this page it has the highest Pixel Density of any camera ever made!

No wonder it does not perform well in low light. However, the movie mode is quite outstanding so it works for my needs. If you want good in door still pictures please do not by the ZS3. The LX3 is probably the only thing that will suit your needs with that scenario.

Also, is there such a thing as a dynamic megapixel camera? Is there a way to treat 4 pixels on the CCD as one larger pixel? That way you could have a nice 12 megapixel camera for those bright sunny days and then have a nice 6-8 megapixel camera for those days when you find yourself shooting in the dark?

Also what is the single biggest factor for shooting a good picture in low light? Is it pixel density, “fast glass”, or good noise reduction? If you could only improve one of those aspects which one would yield the best results in your mind?
