Here is my suggestion for a prime/low light all in one. You said you wanted the 70-200 2.8 for portaits. You can let me know what you think on this option. Get the 70-200 f4 IS because it is more portable and cheaper. Get the 50mm 1.8 for your low light portrait. This lens is canons least expensive. I know you are more on the professional level but you are also new to canon. This lens at $90 bucks will give you an idea of what direction you want to go in and if you at all want to spend money on primes. It has great IQ and great aperture, but just a cheap build. But at $90 dollars, you can't go wrong. Add in to the bunch the 100mm 2.8 macro which is also great for portraits and has L quality IQ. Also this bundle of 3 lenses would cost you the same as the one 70-200mm 2.8 IS.
Quickly shooter, draw your lens or prepared to get shot.
