Photoshop/Lightroom difference??

The previous post gave a pretty detailed answer to your question- having said that, I have a slightly different spin:

Lightroom is a imaging process tool with some editing functionality.
Photoshop is an image editing tool with some process functionality.

Image processing is the flow from camera to publication. Image editiing is the altering of an image as a part of the flow from capture to publication. Although you can (and I do) create graphics in PS from the whole cloth.
