Another good F200exr review- many samples
Apr 14, 2009
I was to buy the LX3 when F200exr has been released. I have always been biased towards LX3, not because of the specifications, but owing to the very good photoes I've seen on Flickr. Now I can tell that, specifications put apart, some F200exr sample photoes can be breath taking (and let's say it, better than LX3 ones). I don't know if it's the DR trick, the realistic colours or the noise management in dim environments (high ISO in LX3 is quite as good as F200exr in medium lit environment, but once it's dim like the streets by night, LX3 tends to have coloured artefacts in dark parts like night skies, which f200exr manages a lot better, I'm a fan of Hugo Poon gallery), but the resulting images feel just right to me. It captures the soft light reflections on flower petals in a way I'm not used too, delicate and shaded.
This is a japanese review providing tons of F200exr photoes with EXIF details. It bought me on the goodness of this camera. Enjoy!
Photography has to remain a pleasure, keep PP minimal!
