Who is this reviewer?

I used to go to a website for reviews and profiles about top Nikon lenses. I've forgotten who the reviewer was or what the website address was.

He was an excellent photographer with lots of really great bird photos on his site. He rated the top Nikon lenses. It seems to me he rated them as whether they were pro quality or not.

He had a listing of the lenses that he used all the time - carried around with him frequently. I also remember a photo of his camera case (I think it was in the back of his car) with all his camera equipment and lenses.

Can anyone out there help me remember who this is?
