Offical Specs on Film & Human DR ??

Anyone know where to get the offical ratings in stops that FILMs have?
And while we are at it, how about the Human eye?

There is a lot of discussion always on DR and how film was much better. I do not want any speculative guesses on thsi though. I want to know if there is an offical source where this info can be retrieved and if anyone has a URL for it.
