Review of 35mm 1.8 AF-S autofocus speed not very impressive.

I am looking at the new 35mm 1.8 AF-S for indoor basketball games and I was hoping for a good fast AF-S performance. However, I was warry of the fact that Nikon could put in a substandard AF-S motor, like they did with the 55-200 kit lens. It appears they may have from the following article.

http://www.naturfotograf.com/lens_wide.html

which says:

The AFS response might not be the snappierst of its kind, but the speed suffices and there is the A/M switch to let you override whatever mischiefs the AF might be up to.

to me, a 35mm prime should be fast focusing, and with the AF-S it should be very fast focusing. This article implies otherwise. Wish I knew of another review that I could compare it too. I guess I will have to wait.
