Travelling to Paris, advice needed

I'm travelling to Paris, France in one week for two weeks, and this will be one of my first trips with a DSLR. I would appreciate your suggestions. Currently I have:

Pentax K200D
smc Pentax DA 18-55mm f3.5-5.6
smc Pentax M 80-200mm f4.5
smc Pentax FA 50mm f1.4
Magnicon MC 28-70mm f3.5-4.5
Small Vivitar tripod (VPT 220?)

I'm basically stuck trying to choose between the 18-55 and the 28-70. I have a bit of a gap between about 50 (I don't even use the kit lens at full zoom, IQ issues) and 80. All the lenses need to be stopped down a bit for absolute clarity, except for the 80-200 which is just stellar everywhere. The problem is, I also like wide angle. Any advice?

Also, I've been looking at the DSLR sized Gorillapod. Should I get it?
