Matsushita contains many brands. Matsushita is indeed a component manufacturer of the Dutch Philipps group. They build Philipps Tv sets with components coming from Europe and are owner of Toshiba as well. I think that Matsushita, Mitsubishi and Kawasaki Heavy Industries are among Japan's largest companies and involved in many other things beside elctronics. Most japanese companies have grown after WW2 from european capitals. Telefunken and Grundig have created JVC, Philipps has gone Toshiba and Matsushita, Blaupunkt has set up Uniden in Taiwan, Mitsubishi has grown out of Roehm who was the first european manufacturer of acrylic glass and all plexiglass is made today by Mistsubishi. It proves that globalization and company (and capital) relocalisation has started much earlier then one could think. Produce the same elsewhere for cheaper and sell it to those that lost their job because of this policy. Just wanna know how long this game will last. Recent events have shown that the shot can blow out on the wrong side and we are only at the beginning of the big disaster.
