Wide Angle Lens for 450D

I would like to upgrade to a better wide angle lens for my Canon 450D. I have the 18-55mm IS, 85mm f1.8 USM and 55-250mm IS lenses. I will be using this for landscape. Should I get a prime lens or a zoom lens. What are your thoughts with the 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5mm USM?
