trails of snow

Hi ,

i'am new to photography and was experimenting with my new Pentax K200D.

This photo I took at night on my balcony facing the street light( F4,1/4,iso1600).

I would expect the snow to leave an constant trail, but as you can see looks duplicated. Can someone explain how this happens?
