AF-S Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G D

I have in my hand (well, on my desk while I type) a AF-S Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G D in apparent perfect condition. A co-worker wants $300 for it.

Two questions:

Fair price?

What is the difference between this and the AF-S Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G ED?? (Is the ED any better)?
