60mm 2.8 AF-D or 55mm Micro 2.8 Ai?

Ok....opinions:
I have the option of getting my hands on either: a nikkor 60mm micro 2.8 AF-D or a Nikkor 55mm micro 2.8 Ai. I don;t do macro photography but from what I have been reading these two lenses are sharper and have overall better IQ than the 50 1.8 or 1.4. even when shooting at a distance.
So: Do any of you have BOTH these lenses and can you suggest which of the two is a "keeper" for general "normal" focal length photography? Please remember: i do not shoot close-up macros. I shoot urban/street/architecture for large prints (24" +) for display in art galleries. My Camera is a D700.
cheers
