Best Monitor

Hey All,

I've been away for a while. I went through a 14 month divorce and yes shut down my studio and lost a lot of my equipment. Now ready to start over. I need to know what kind of a monitor most people are using now. I have the fear of buying a flat monitor and it not being what I need for viewing touching up my photographs. I use to have a great 22 inch hatachi that was spot on with my lab.
It was huge, so I would like a flat screen if they will work.
