life span of a camera
Jan 16, 2009

Dear Friends,

It might sound "do not worry question" but then still curiosity

I read somewhere in this forum about shutter life of 100000 shots or may be a zero more. In contrast, i know people using maxxum and old cams for like 20 years.

Do they go for some change of parts in cam or is it that the 1..... click or i misunderstood the whole thing.

This whole concern aggravated when i was reading A900 review and learned about the new feature of a pre-shot option where a pic can be seen before clicking for review.

To be true i am happy with my A100 and want it for longer than 1000000 clicks.. one time i had a thought of updating it with A700 but then i preferred buying a Tam 70-200 2.8 and later CZ 16-35 then buying a new cam

Min 50 1.7
Min 100-200
Tam 70-200 2.8
