will a DK-17M eyepiece fit a F3 film body?

I recently acquired a fine F3 body and I wondered if I could improve the MF performance, by placing the "modern" eyepiece magnifier DK-17M on the F3.

The DK-17M is normally used on D3, D2 and F5 bodies but I haven't found any proof it fits an F3. It's the same rounded shape, but that's all I know.

If the DK-17M doesn't fit, anyone knows other options like older eyepieces or third party models?

First hand experience with the DK-17m or other magnifiers are also very welcome.
