What does CLIPPING mean?
I'm very new to photography and I'm very interested in it. I have canon 40D and I shoot RAW (in Auto WB) and then try a little with DPP on Contrast, Britness and sometimes setting WB by picking it from any Grey area of photo only.
Would you please tell me about these;
What is the meaning of CLIPPING in a histogram?
How should I adjust Histogram to get the best result?
Should I do it for any channel seperately (R, G & B)?
I did underestand (by myself) that moving the left dark edge line to right, near to the begining of histogram, eliminates fogginess and haziness of the photo. I do it in my photos but I don't know wether it is right or not!
Thanks for your help in advance.
