Total cost of Ownership(TCO) is Canon the best choice
Dec 17, 2008

Hi everyone, I am a Nikon user (I have had a D40 as my first camera for about a month). But I find it could do better with better lenses(I own 18-55 kit lens and 55-200VR and not satisfied with them) so I am considering lens upgrade. After some research, I feel disappointed about Nikon.

Nikon has great lenses, but they are too expensive, while Canon has more affordable lenses with great performance (some L lense cost below $1000).

Does Nikon has an equivalent list? Should I switch to Canon?
Any one here have bean using gears from both manufactures please give advice.
Thanks,
Dan
