It's only because the SD950 is prone to oversaturate more easely, especially the red tones. The SD950 shows it potential and avoid such oversaturation when exposure compensation set to at least -1/3. When red tones are in the picture, the exposure compensation should easily be set to -1 or less.

about the truly excellent SD950 (see also details in the above picture compared to D60 with excellent glass!):

The SD950 IS is a reference in its class.
