D3x has double the resolution of D3 ?

Why does the guy of dpreview say such a (stupid) thing? The camera has double the number of megapixels, would the D3x have double the resolution of the D3, it should have had a 48 megapixel sensor. The 15 megapixel Canon 50D has not double the resolution of the 8 megapixel Canon 20D. Pay attention dpreview !
