PPG rejection C&C [3 imgs]

Hey All,

After getting off to an alright start, I'm starting to get a little discouraged with my PPG submissions. While I don't expect everything to make it, I've been getting some of what I thought were my stronger images turned down. Of course this hasn't kept me from continuing to submit images, but I thought I would seek the criticism of some fellow Pentaxians to identify areas that i can improve on. Images follow:
