Canon's new Platinum Pro papers...

When I go to Canon's web site and go to papers available for my printer, the Pro 9500, it now shows and offers the new Platinum Pro papers. When I go to the 'technology guide' and read about the new papers, it refers often to the fact the paper is suited for "dye based" printers. So why is it showing for pigment based printers like mine? Is it usable for a 9500, but not ideally
suited, or is it not suited at all for the 9500 and is posted there as a
mistake? Thanks.
