Nikon D60 to compliment S5?

Hello. I'm looking for advice for a light back-up body for my S5 and lenses to accompany me on fell walking trips where a light DSLR body would be useful.

I realise the D60 and S5 are very different beasts, but are there any of you good people who have used both and could give me your opinion on the D60?
