changing viewing settings for Histogram panel in CS4?
Nov 16, 2008

I am enjoying CS4 (although it's taking work to adjust to the differences from CS3, of course). One thing I cannot figure out; I use the Histogram panel when I work on images. In CS3 it was only luminousity; in CS4 the default seems to be showing the 3 separate RGB histograms. If I want only the one Luminousity channel, I have to go thru a bunch of steps (go to Expanded view, change to Luminousity, collapse Expanded back to Compact, re-expand all the other panels that were automatically compacted when Histogram was expanded, etc.)

I'd like to change the default, if that is possible, so that I get only the Luminousity Histogram. Is that possible . . . I didn't see in Preferences, etc..

thanks in advance,
josh
