Fimware update suggestions

Just to set the scene, I am a canon user for almost 5 years and made the change as soon as I realize that canon's company direction - high megapixels rather than image quality - isn't what I like.

Now first thing first D700 is an amazing camera and I had been taking photos that I would never been able to with 40d.

Nevertheless there are few suggetions for next firmware update

And please accept this an invitation for all of you to contribute as well

The easiest way is to use subject line to summarize your suggestions and use body to further delineate your reasoning

And let's just hope nikon engineers are reading this forum

Please only firmware features ie please no 100% viewfinder or more secured cf compartment
