barmitzvah shoot

I have been asked to shoot a barmitzvah and as i look back....i dont think i have ever been to one before. I would imagine it would be like shooting a birthday party or anniversary etc.....but if any of you have shot a barmitzvah before, do you have any suggestions or ideas on making the shoot a success.

Also, as far as a fee goes....im assuming that an hourly rate is the norm for this?

I am an interior photographer by profession and thats my specialty. I know what my competion charges and services they provide for interior shots....but for this type of photography, i am not familiar. Any suggestions on hourly rates would be helpful.
