Taking photos at noon in bright sun???????
Nov 9, 2008

Hello all,

I need to take portraits of my son's soccer team just before the game today at about 12:30pm. It looks to be a bright and sunny day. Do you have any advice? I googled and found two websites which gave advice but thought I'd ask here as well. The one link said to use the Sunny 16 rule: f/16 at speed=ISO which I'd be at ISO100.

If it helps, I'm using a Canon 20D. I have the kit lens, the 50mm 1.8, and the 70-200 f/4L - no other accessories.

Thanks!
